About

The story behind the site

The Pink Paperdoll was born from my lifelong love of magazines and creative content. In fact, I published my first magazine at age six. It was made with crayon and glitter and had a circulation of 1. Thanks to some advances in technology since then, my content can reach a much wider audience.

I’m now a freelance writer creating copy for small businesses, and I’m a regular contributor to some pretty fun bridal, lifestyle, event and parenting magazines. When I’m not writing, you can find me coordinating weddings, playing with my rescue pup Perry, or working on my fairy garden.

What’s it about?

The content shared here is based on the simple principle that it doesn’t take a ton of time or money to make life more beautiful. So get ready to be inspired by fashion, décor, do-it-yourself crafts and lifestyle that’s equal parts rustic and elegant.

Readers of this site are observers of life’s beautiful little details. They want to make their life, home, community and world a little prettier than it was. They also appreciate an occasional dose of humor and care about nature and the environment.
